Our Amazing Mutt
July 1, 2009Recently, our dog participated in the Fun Dog Show in the local park. I was the "master" because I was the only one in my family young enough to do it. Our dog, Einstein, (he hasn't lived up to his name.... yet.....) is a mixed breed dog. His main breed is a Rhodesian Ridgeback, an African lion hunter. It is hard to believe because he is scared of any dogs his size or bigger. He best friend is about the size of a Daushaund. It's unbelievable. ANYWAY! Back to the dog show. as we arrived, it was Einstien's heaven. Dog's every 5 inches! A little while after we got there, Einstein calmed down and waited for the judging. As the judges came to a conclusion they awarded ribbons first, then the trophy for best mixed breed dog. Einstein won tallest, and 2nd best behaved. As they got to the end of the ribbon awarding, they decided on the best mixed breed dog. "...And the best mixed breed dog is... number 30, Einstein!" I jumped up and down and gave my dog a huge hug. "You are a great dog!" And the is the story of our amazing mutt.
